There are regular flights throughout the season from Monday to Saturday (no flights on Sundays).
The flight takes 20 minutes to the main island of St Mary's from where it is a 20 minute boat trip to St Martin's.
Taxis are waiting outside the heliport to transport you the short trip down to the quay.

By Ship from Penzance

There is normally one sailing from Penzance to St Mary's and St Mary's to Penzance daily
(no sailings on Sundays).
The journey takes 2 hours and 40 minutes to the main island of St Mary's, from where it is a 20 minute
boat trip to St Martin's.

15 minutes from Land's End to the main island of St Mary's, from where it is a 20 minute boat trip to St Martin's.

Travel between St Mary's and St Martin's

Schedule launches depart from St Mary's quay to St Martin's daily (except Sundays) at 12.30 and 15.30. For the return journey from St Martin's to St Mary's the schedule launch departs at 10.15. Times do sometimes vary with low tides. The fare is £3.80 per person.
A special launch can be arranged to transfer you between islands at any time, the cost for this is £35 per boat from 8am to 6pm. The cost is slightly more before and after these times.

Travel from St Martin's to other islands

There are boats every day except Sunday to St Mary's and Tresco and alternative days to Bryher and St Agnes depending on weather and tides.
If you're interested in seals and bird watching there is usually an afternoon trip once a week out to the Eastern Isles or Round Island Lighthouse. Details of trips and departure times are posted each evening on boards situated by the Post Office at Higher Town and the Campsite at Middletown.
During the Gig season the launch follows the ladies and men's races each Wednesday and Friday evenings.
